This is the trailer for Hollyoaks. The new trailer is to introduce the new cast to Hollyoaks. The camerawork starts off by showing all of the original main charachters of the old cast, the camerawork is edited in a fast pace to show the actors getting ready for a photo shoot although they are still acting in their charachters from Hollyoaks,when the camera suddenly switches to the new cast walking in, they walk in groups, girls and boys. We see conflict between the new girls and the old girls Carmel and Jackie as they look the new girls up and down as they walk in whereas on the other hand the boys mainly darren show an interested look in the new girls, and do the typical nudge as they walk in, with the camera tracking back. The camera work also shows extreme close up to the girls faces showing their make up and their jewerlly. The costumes of the actors and actresses are very formal and dressy, it is coming across to be more like a trailer for 90210, the hills, the O.C etc, like an american drama not a british soap filmed in Chester and Liverpool. The whole scene is set in slow motion which makes it more effective for the audience to watch .
